A sterling grade silver ethnic ring from Tibet, the square top is set with a centre white conch shell piece surrounded by pieces of coral with silver bead decoration on each edge. The conch shell is popular in Himalayan jewellery, it one of the eight sacred Buddhist symbols and represents the voice of Buddha. The ring measures 20 x 20 x 7.7 mm and weighs 9.4 gm, it fits finger size D or 7.5.
