A Tibetan sterling grade silver ethnic bangle with open back. This ‘Om’ bangle is embossed with the Buddhist mantra, (prayer), “Om Mani Padme Hum” Buddhists believe that saying, thinking or wearing the mantra or spinning a prayer wheel, ensures the blessings of Chenrezig the compassionate one. A “Dorje” symbol, (symbol of enlightenment) and floral decoration is embossed on each side within the decorative border. The bangle’s internal diameters measure 67 x 95mm and its max width and depth measure 28 x 2 mm, it weighs 33.5 gm. Allow for only minor flexing when fitting.
