A vintage Tibetan ethnic pendant

This vintage sterling grade silver ethnic pendant from Tibet is called a Gau or amulet or prayer box. It is decorated with turquoise and coral and ornate silver wire work and like many Tibetan pendants has a chain bale at the top and one at the bottom for hanging more jewellery. The back should open but it seems to be sealed shut. It measures 55 x 55 x 13.5 mm and weighs 28.4 gm. If you would like a sliver necklet chain to go with this pendant please see Tribal Necklaces.
