This silver Turkoman, or Turkmen, tribal pendant from Afghanistan has a red glass centre which is decorated with a brass flower and light blue glass beads surrounded by a silver wire work border. The wide deep tapering sides are decorated with red and blue glass beads and silver drop motifs. The oval pendant measures 56 x 42 x 17.5 mm and weighs 42.8 gms.
