A vintage Tibetan sterling silver ethnic pendant or ghau. A ghau or gau or ga’u is an amulet or prayer or relic box. This lozenge shaped gau is decorated with turquoise, coral and lapis lazuli with silver wirework in the front section and around the sides. The back is a lid which opens so a prayer can be inserted.
