A Tibetan ethnic pendant
A vintage sterling grade silver and conch shell reversible ethnic pendant from Tibet. The oval conch shell, one of the 8 auspicious symbols or “Tashi Tagye” ( the conch shell is a symbol for the voice of Buddha), is set between a beautifully, deep sculptured, silver front, depicting a prancing pony and a back depicting a dragon. the pendant measures 72 x 46 x 24 mm and weighs 64.4 gm.
