A vintage heavy sterling grade silver trinket box . The half round box has a prominent scalloped edge around the front and the hinged lid is embossed with a rooster and floral motifs. The rooster is one of many recognised Tibetan animal symbols, it also represents one of its 12 calendar years. The box measures 75 x 53 x 25 mm and weighs 88 gm.
